The observance of NDAFW is about "Shattering the Myths" about drug and alcohol use by teens. The National Institute on Drug Abuse, (NIDA) continues to work dilligently to educate teenagers about the dangers of Alcohol and Drug abuse. The Mission of NIDA is" "To lead the nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction." Putnam PRIDE is dedicated to bringing the message to everyone that "Prevention Works" and with everyone's help we are saving lives...one child at a time.
