Video: Lifecycle of a Question
With all of the information in the movies on drug use and its negative side effects, watching movies together can spark meaningful conversations about the importance of staying away from drugs. Consider sharing the videos below, or HBO’s addiction films, and invite participants to stick around afterward to discuss what they saw. Ask a scientific expert and/or a doctor to answer questions and share their experiences; you can also hand out the Drugs: SHATTER THE MYTHS booklet.
- The annual Red Ribbon Week Campus Video PSA Contest is now open and accepting entries! As part of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Red Ribbon Week campaign, DEA and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration are cosponsoring this contest for colleges and universities to promote the importance of preventing alcohol and drug misuse among college students.
