Drugged Driving Event Toolkit

If you are interested in an event or promotional activity that focuses primarily on drugged driving, here are links to resources from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and others.

Drugged driving puts the driver, passengers, and others who share the road at risk. Use of illicit drugs or misuse of prescription drugs can make driving a car unsafe—just like driving after drinking alcohol. According to the 2018 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), more than 20 million people ages 16 and older drove after drinking alcohol. And nearly 13 million people drove after using illicit drugs1.
