Because alcohol is a small molecule that travels everywhere in the body that water goes, it has the potential to affect every single body part. Some of the primary organs affects by alcohol are the brain, liver, pancreas, stomach, esophagus and heart. Heavy drinking can damage the heart, as well as the brain, liver, throat and other areas.
