My boyfriend has recently been getting high more regularly. I refuse to try anything, but I'm really worried about him. He's been doing edibles and is planning to start doing LSD next term. I've told him I'm worried and I don't like him doing it but he just says he'll be careful. I'm terrified for him because there seems to be nothing I can say to stop him. I don't want to give up on him, I just need help.

Figuring out how to help someone you love stop using drugs can be tricky. You’re doing the right thing by sharing your concerns with your boyfriend. Keep sharing! Also try to listen without making judgments. You can also share scientific information about what edibles and LSD can do to a person, including how they affect academic performance. Once your boyfriend understands how smoking affects his brain, body, and life, it might open his eyes.
