Are you on Facebook? Chances are, the answer is yes—the popular site has more than 750 million active users who spend over 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook!
Individuals might use Facebook in a variety of ways—to connect with friends and family, share photos, keep up-to-date on the latest news at school or in the world, and even plan events.
Organizations also use Facebook to get their messages out—for instance, maybe your school has a chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). The organization has a page on Facebook.
Check out the National Institute on Drug Abuse’s Drug Facts Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/NIDA.Drug.Facts.Week and find out more about National Drug Facts Week 2011.
And now SBB wants to know—how do you use Facebook? Do you “Like” any organizations or groups on Facebook? Do you “Like” any groups or campaigns that promote healthy living?
